Phillips Brothers Wood Shavings came to us as a fast-paced organisation with little marketing infrastructure. The organisation had many great ideas for marketing campaigns but simply did not have the time to achieve them. So we began where we always begin, with research. We worked with the Phillips team to build persona profiles for our target audience whilst mapping out preferences.
As our research developed, we found Instagram to be the most relevant social platform for our intended audience.
Building trust and brand engagement
With research complete, our team set about building the infrastructure for Phillips Brothers. We developed and built branded email templates with calls-to-action as well as SEO optimised landing pages designed to capture leads.
Once the infrastructure was setup, we worked with the Phillips Brothers team to develop a social media posting strategy and a seasonal email marketing campaign; mapping out a series of emails that drove traffic to landing pages.
We focused on their primary challenge; proving to to prospective clients that theirs was indeed a reliable and trustworthy service.
While we set about crafting the landing pages and emails, our team also setup and built the Phillips Brothers Instagram page with a branding guideline.

A Campaign For the History Books
After an intensive series of emails, we used an intelligent CRM to track and monitor every engaged lead whilst changing and shifting subject lines as the deadline to commit approached. As a result of our marketing, Phillips Brothers experienced a superb surge in season stock sales, as well as the earmarking of future stock to be sold throughout that season.
As the offer was coming to an end, we shared our analytics with the team at Phillips Brothers, highlighting which contacts had consistently opened the emails or clicked on a link within the ad, the team could then reach out to these contacts by phone to offer access to the promotion. This resulted in the largest number of orders received by Phillips Brothers and their most engaged email list.
