Twitter Rumoured to remove the 140-character Limit
Many avid Twitter fans may or may not welcome the news, but it has been rumoured that Twitter is building a new product to allow users to share tweets that are longer than the 140-character limit.
The 140 character limit trademark feature has made the social platform one of the most desirable and easiest to use. Everyone likes to keep up with news, but in the busy world we live in, not everyone has the time to read a full page article.
We live in a world where information is consumed within seconds. One of Twitters most valuable features has been its ability to deliver a condensed message in the shortest way possible!
This planned change by Twitter is an attempt to attract more users. It may be un-welcomed amongst existing users, but it may also introduce a new type of user, a user who wants to say a bit more! , share a bit more! , after all no one likes condensing those valuable sentences when you are on the verge of tweeting something amazing.
Should long-form publishing be left to other platforms like Facebook and LinkedIn or Should Twitter follow through on this power feature?
